In the vibrant atmosphere of South by Southwest in Austin during the spring of 2023, Zeke and Izzy met by chance. On their first delightful coffee date, the conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and shared interests. After a few months of dating, Zeke and Izzy decided to embark on 2000-mile road trip from Utah to Colorado to New Mexico and back home to Austin. This journey was not just about the miles but about deepening their bond. With every stop along the way, they explored new places, shared stories, and created unforgettable memories. This amazing trip and “Windshield Time” solidified their connection, revealing just how well they complemented each other. In the Fall of 2023, Zeke introduced Izzy to his children. The warmth and chemistry were palpable as Izzy quickly formed a special bond with them. They spent time together on movie nights, outdoor adventures, and art projects, with Izzy becoming a cherished figure in their lives. By spring of 2024, Zeke and Izzy decided to take the next big step and move in together, merging into one family. Zeke proposed in May of 2024 on the Lamar pedestrian bridge while they were on a walk around Town Lake. Zeke picked that specific spot because he wanted to tell her how excited he was to bridge their lives together, and Izzy joyously accepted his proposal. They are both looking forward to celebrating their union followed by a lifetime of shared love and adventures as one united family!

This glorious Gothic-Revival style chapel was completed in 1878 and modeled after King Louis IX's Sainte Chapelle in Paris. The church was built for the Sisters of the Loretto, who established a school in Santa Fe in 1853. According to legend, St. Joseph the Carpenter had a role in the building of the chapel's Miraculous Staircase, constructed between 1877 and 1881 with two 360-degree turns and no apparent means of support. Today, the church is a private museum and a popular site for wedding ceremonies.
